Farm Experience
Come stay where the story began. One hour from Guatemala City, a world apart.
The farmhouse where Federico brought Suzanne from France over a century ago still stands on Tecuamburro's slopes — and now, it's yours to experience. Restored for guests while preserving its historic character, the farmhouse offers comfortable rooms, home-cooked meals featuring local cuisine, and a veranda with mountain views that haven't changed in 135 years.
Stays are arranged directly with the Ossaye family. We accommodate small groups of 2–8 guests for personalized experiences. Please inquire at least 2 weeks in advance.
| Nov – Feb | Harvest season. Cherry picking, full wet mill operation, bustling farm energy with 100+ workers on-site. The most dynamic time to visit. |
|---|---|
| Mar – May | Dry season. Best hiking weather, clearest views of the Pacific lowlands. Reforestation planting, drying patios active. |
| Jun – Oct | Green season. Lush forest, flowering coffee trees, peak birdwatching. Quieter and more intimate — the farm at its most serene. |
Come see the origin. Walk the land. Cup the coffee where it grows. This is how direct-trade relationships are built.
